The career that i chose was biodiesel/ biofuels project management. The responsibilities that come with this position are, Designing or conducting the biodiesel or biofuels research projects. Look at information from biofuels studies, such as fluid dynamics, water treatments, or solvent extraction and recovery processes. The skills required to complete the above tasks are understanding sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the best one. Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Identifying the strengths and weaknesses. Prepare the preparation of, experimental plans for biofuels research or development. Provide technical or scientific guidance to technical staff in the conduct of biofuels research or development. Propose new biofuels products, processes, technologies or applications. Oversee biodiesel/biofuels prototyping or development projects. Develop methods to estimate the efficiency of biomass pretreatments.Perform protein functional analysis and engineering for processing of feedstock and creation of biofuels. Conduct research to breed or develop energy crops with improved biomass yield, environmental adaptability, pesticides. Develop computational tools to improve biofuels research and development activities. Develop separation processes to recover biofuels.  I chose the career in biofuels because the wages for the job are great. I saw that the job had a very fancy name to it ” biofuels/biodiesel Development manager” and it caught my eye more than all of the other jobs that were matched to me. I never thought much of what I would like to be in the future or what types of things I would be doing in the future. I like science a little and this career seems to match some of my preferences towards the science part of the job. I think I would be successful in this career because I feel that helping the environment would help me be motivated to do the job. The possible downsides to this career would most likely be the long hours and the time away home, but I feel like the good outweighs the bad. Another example of a possible downside would be possibility of working with dangerous chemicals and dangerous machinery that could cause injury of some sort.Compensation for this career is very great, a reason why i chose this career. In all of the United States Illinois is where biofuels/biodiesel project managers are paid the highest at $187,000 a year. The average salary for biofuels/biodiesel project managers is $129,340 a year. The type of education you need are as followed chemical engineering, materials engineering, engineering science, agricultural engineering, Biological/Biosystems Engineering. Knowledge you should have are English Language,Chemistry,Engineering and Technology, Mathematics,Production and  Processing.  People in this career usually work over 50 hours a week. I couldn’t find any benefits that are provided with this career. Outlook on jobs  in biodiesel/biofuels project managers, seems to be doing awesome. The career involves technology and innovation those types of careers have been doing great in the past several years. On it shows statistical data that says that there is an above average opportunity rate in Illinois for my career, biodiesel/biofuels project management. Possible reasoning for my career growing would be new fuel, pollution in the future will get worse and this new type of fuel using plants will help the environment and in the future it be used more often.Education that is required for my career are first, chemical engineering, Is a program prepares students to apply mathematical and science to the design, development and operational evaluation of systems employing chemical processes. It is about $19,399.00 per year. Second, materials engineering, which Is to apply mathematical and materials science principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of materials and related processes used in manufacturing in a wide variety of settings the synthesis of new industrial materials, including marrying and bonding composites. It is about $19,186.00 per year. Third, is engineering science, it is
