The planet by a lot and we would

The colonization of Mars had been in the minds of people ever since we found of its existence. The colonization of Mars had humans always interested, dating back all the way to the Ancient Roman period, after all Mars was named after the “Roman God of war”. These days every person thinks of the Red Planet at least once at some point in their life due to the fact that the colonization of Mars has always been represented as a symbol of progression and the advance of the human race, in technology and the expansion of our environment. However, life on Mars has never been found, and people of the twenty-first century then started to think about its colonization. Despite the fact that there are volunteer trainings and the construction of the equipment, people still wonder whether the colonization of the Red Planet is expedient. Whether or not we should colonize Mars is a major question facing human civilization in the near future. Mainly due to the unstoppable effects of human nature. There are those who say it would be smart to put all of our forces into the operation that will save our planet Earth. The planet we are living right now is everything we have, it is where we live, where we eat. As the humans developed they invented new technology that is helping human nature to live, but at the same time it have an abnormal effect on our planet.  Some say that this technology is shortening  the life of the planet by a lot and we would be wise  to start producing green energy and try to get rid of the dirty energy. If everything will work out than our kind will be able to see the mother Earth all its beauty.   But this is idealistic, naive and quite frankly unlikely to succeed. The colonization of Mars will expand our knowledge of our own solar system and will allow us to find better options for beginning a new life as well as introduce more minerals to our own planet for usage. Our environment is constantly changing. There is no denying that. However, as our environment changes, so does the need to become increasingly aware of the problems that surround it. With a massive influence of natural disasters, warming and cooling periods, different types of weather patterns and much more, people need to be aware of what types of environmental problems our planet is facing.Current environmental problems make us vulnerable to disasters and tragedies, now and in the future. We are in a state of planetary emergency. Environmental problems piling up around us. Current environmental problems require big attention. Global warming has become fact about our current living. Our planet is warming up and we are definitely part of the problem. However, this isn’t the only environmental problem that we should be concerned about. All across the world, people are facing a wealth of new and challenging environmental problems every day. Some of them are small and only affect a few ecosystems, but others are drastically changing the landscape of what we already know. We people living like a virus, if to look from the Earth point of view. Pollution of air, water and soil require millions of years to recoup. Industry and motor vehicle exhaust are the number one pollutants. Heavy metals, nitrates and plastic are toxins responsible for pollution. While water pollution is caused by oil spill, acid rain, urban runoff. Air pollution is caused by various gases and toxins released by industries and factories and combustion of fossil fuels. The need for change in our daily lives and the movements of our government is growing. Because so many different factors come into our live. Although it’s true that we cannot physically stop our ozone layer from thinning there are still so many things we can do to try and put a dent in what we already know. By raising awareness in your local community and within your families about these issues, you can help contribute to a more environmentally conscious and friendly place for you to live.People sold spend less money on building stuff on mars and focus on our planet more . Those money could help our planet more and it will be more efficient. This is why we need to be preparing colonies  for the Mars. Humanity’s will to explore space ,this is what drive us toward. More advanced technological innovations that will benefit mankind in one way or another. Plus our own planet is getting huge damage by pollution. This is a sine to move to the other planet before the plant will kill us all. Many people believe that the moving to the mars will increase the understanding the planet, how to avoid some tragic endings. Some would say that exploration has caused us nothing but trouble and  occupations. If humans would not explore that would never get educated and it would take a longer time to get to the point we are now. Exploring moving forward is the key of the human nature. Without moving humans will get bored. Mars is the planet in our solar system that is most similar to Earth.  Mars used to be a warm and wet planet like Earth, when Mars had a much thicker atmosphere than it does today.  Our analysis of what could happen to the Earth cannot be based on just one data point – that of the Earth. It is imperative to understand the evolutions of other planets, particularly planets like Earth so that we can wisely take care of our home. Apart from national prestige, morale is essential for a nation’s growth and prosperity.  U.S. led missions to Mars would not only make a bold and unequivocal statement that we are still capable of great things – perhaps the greatest achievement in human history – but it would also dramatically improve our national outlook and economy. Building on lessons learned from the International Space Station, commercial partners  have a big and innovative role in the exploration of Mars. This involvement will be the underpinning of new and incredibly promising industries for the next century.  Space exploration is widely recognized to be one of the most effective ways to inspire students to become interested in STEM education and it is a well-known driver of technology and innovation.  Returning to the Moon after 50 years is unlikely to require advancements in technology.  An ambitious mission to the next frontier of Mars will inspire new generations of engineers, scientists, physicians, innovators, educators, and industrialists to reach for the stars. Mars is the most scientifically interesting location in our solar system that humans can reach in the foreseeable future.  Although robotic exploration of Mars over the past 50 plus years has provided us with a wealth of information and incredible discoveries, most experts agree that it will probably take human explorers to determine whether there ever was or even still is life on Mars and to conduct many other scientific investigations that are not possible with robots alone. There are many unexplored questions that need to ne solver in order for the travel to happen. Delivery of products such as oxygen, food and building resources. Mars has many times been described as planet with nothing on it but rocks. In order to live on it we would need air, water, food and power. If humanity will be able to provide  those supplies from earth this would be a short-term amount of food to rely on. Technologies have not developed enough to send all needed materials. One of the biggest problems that seems to be facing the colonization of Mars is oxygen, because even if we have food and water, we still need oxygen to breath on the planet. This problem is already solving Nasa’s 2020. NASA, “carry an electrolysis experiment to extract oxygen from carbon dioxide in the Martian atmosphere”. This experiment will provide us axes to oxygen on Mars, even though this will need to be done on a large scale, it is still a great start, since it solves our biggest problem with having a suitable colony on Mars. The second biggest problem after oxygen, as mentioned is the lack of food and water. Bringing food to the planet every single time would be pretty much impossible to keep up and feed a whole future nation on Mars. The food will be grown on the planet itself. A great example of how food can be grown on Mars can be seen in the movie “Martian” where the astronaut stuck on Mars has to grow food to survive, and he does and survives for a long period of time. And with enough food brought in the first place, re-growing this food would just be like in a farm, on Mars. Even though this is a movie, it has been proven that growing vegetables and all sorts of greens is very possible to do in isolation as long the materials are there, and these materials are the same as they would be used on a normal farm, except there would need to be some sort of an artificial light, which was proven by, the non-profit Mars Society, who has been experimenting with growing food in its isolated desert research station in Utah, and one of the main people in charge and working in the organization for 10 years software engineer and Mars enthusiast Digby Tarvin. This organization has been growing greens in isolation for years and many have been produced edible, they have succeeded in proving that it is possible to grow food on Mars, but will still need to add further research to make it possible to live off ” People have grown some edible greens but it’s not at the stage we can live on what we produce,” he then said “One of the research projects we’ll be undertaking is to use the local rock as a growing medium by adding sufficient minerals and additives”(Tarvin).  Ice on Mars has been confirmed meaning there is water on Mars. It is said that Mars once had rivers and lakes, but even though the water has mostly dried out there still is a good amount of it. Water can be recycled from sweat and urine but this will not be enough for a whole community rather for a few astronauts, meaning creating a local water source in Mars will be essential for further life on the Red planet. Another yet important aspect of all this movement is money. Organization need to provide good deals to the investors in order to achieve an inventions. With this been sad Mars should be more than just a new and clean planet. It should also have something that investors can take. Mars is 144 trillion square meters of unexplored surface area with an abundance of minerals. Scientists have proved that some of the meteorites came from Mars. Since these patterns can provide a lot of information about the planet, they decided to investigate them. By the end of the experiment, they found Magnesium, Aluminium, Titanium, Iron, Chromium lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, niobium, molybdenum, lanthanum, europium, tungsten, and gold.  There are also many volcanoes on Mars. The Olympus mountain is the largest volcano in the solar system. For comparison, one of the smallest volcanoes on Mars,  Ceraunius Tholus, nears the height of Earth’s Everest.  It would be very lucrative to build a plant for production of nickel, tungsten, gold, platinum and even diamonds. Of course, right now the natural resources of Mars are used only to help volunteers to survive, but in fact, business will start to expand on the neighboring planet right after the first colonizers will settle in there.      Bas Lansdorp, Elon Musk, and other organizers of colonization of Mars are pragmatic businessmen and realists. Here on Earth, any project or business idea involves spending 90% of money and time on problems with society, government, military, competing firms, uncontrollable religious groups, eco-concerned citizen, with a billion hurt feelings, etc. In other words, sooner or later,  almost every successful entrepreneur faces the oppression of the government, church, or public. Often it’s just a little trouble, but sometimes these problems can cause serious damage. Such situations will not really exist on Mars.  A new planet gives a free rein to the development of any business on it. Mars does not belong to any country, so first activists of the Red Planet will be able to set their own rules and regulations, as it was once in the New World.  It goes without saying that humanity goes through the huge changes right now. We all wonder what the future will look like after such a big step in space exploration. Robert Zubrin, an American aerospace engineer, says: “There will be a “triangle trade,” with Earth supplying high technology manufactured goods to Mars, Mars supplying low technology manufactured goods and food staples to the asteroid belt and possibly the Moon as well, and the asteroids and Moon sending metals and possibly helium-3 to Earth.” And maybe it sounds absolutely fantastic, but looking at the advantages of the business on the alien planet, we can count this theory as one of the most possible ones.         The large-scale colonization of Mars, going beyond the first hundred people, seems to be quite distant. However, in the case of the probable immigration, disposition of the property will add an important source of income for the economy of the Red Planet. If the government is interested in sponsorship and provision of the technological means that we need for immigration, then this all could be available today.   But in case of the weak interest from the side of the government , even the slow progress of settlement and challenge of transportation will not be the most serious problem for the initiation of a human civilization on the Mars. A real danger lies in the space.  According to the official site of the Mars One project, “Human space exploration is dangerous at all levels. After more than fifty years of humans traveling from Earth to space, the risk of space flight is similar to that of climbing Mount Everest”. The implications of the Colonization of Mars are evident. One of the main difficulties that can be encountered by astronauts is a psychological compatibility of a small group of people in a confined space. There is also a big possibility of unexpected disease in the first nine months of the flight. High levels of cosmic radiation, meteor danger, and low atmospheric pressure can also be really dangerous for the colonizers.  Mars is a cruel environment where a careless act or accident can serve as a result of a serious problem in the mission, injury, and even death. Every component must work perfectly. So, everything from the quality of technology to the quality of training volunteers must be perfect. Otherwise, the colonization of Mars and lives of its future settlers are in great danger. All these problems need to be solved if we want to colonize Mars with more than one hundred people. Everything always comes down to money. And speaking about the colonization of Mars, we couldn’t ignore the topic of it’s actual price. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to count all of the expenses. But the most accurate price was said by Mars One, the organizers of the colonization.  Bas Lansdorp, the co-founder and CEO of Mars One, says: “The proposed Mars One budget includes a large safety margin to take into account significant mission failures as well as smaller but costly failures of components on Mars.” They estimated the entire project at US$ 6 billion. According to their  calculations, Mars One needs: “US$ 450 million for the first unmanned Mars lander mission; US$ 425 million for the communications satellite; US$ 900 million for the first rover mission; US$ 2,300 million for all remaining outpost hardware and supplies before the human mission; US$ 1,250 million for sending the first crew to Mars; US$ 582 million for operations, including astronaut selection and training; US$ 93 million for ground stations and other costs and US$ 1,850 million per year for follow-up human missions.” However, according to the same company, all expenses will be paid back within a few years. And since Mars One is not the only organization that is planning to colonize the Red Planet, we need to remind you about the  SpaceX company. They already have more than one milliard of dollars to continue doing this project. Elon Musk has tested reusable launch vehicle “Falcon 9”. He wants to name the first ship, which will make the historic flight, a “Heart of Gold” like it was in the famous series of books by Douglas Adams’.The Mars is another planet it is not just a land. It will be a challenge—an extreme challenge for humans. It will test our knowledge our resourcefulness, and the limits of our abilities in every way. It will be risky and yes, people will die. But in today’s risk world, the value of a challenge has been grossly underestimated. We have seen the geological potential of the Red Planet and looked at it as at the “free sandbox” for successful business development. Here on earth we all see each other differently and we see each other for the countries we came from and for our cultures we follow. Colonizing Mars and building a new home on a planet would take a lot of money, time and dedication and in order to build a new life and a new society we will all need to unite to work as humans together again as we did before, to achieve new life. On Mars, we will not be seen as Americans, Russians, Christian’s, Jews but as mankind, and we will put our differences aside and work towards a better and stronger future not for our countries or religions but for our kind. Mars could be the beginning of a new era in human diplomacy. (Red Colony). As people become more and more “stay at home” and turn to ever more push-button solutions, we are losing our survival instinct.
